I'm really happy that I gave this another shot when I was more in the mood for a fantasy. It's a wild ride and I don't know that I could really explain the book but I really enjoyed it. I know Liliath is the villain that I'm not really supposed to like but...I do? All the characters had a purpose and while the book is 500+ pages, it felt like I ran through the book without thinking of how long it was.
