Cold Hearted Bastard by Jenika Snow delivers a fast-paced, dark mafia romance with a love-at-first-sight twist between Galina and Arlo. The chemistry is intense and the storyline moves quickly, making it an easy and engaging read. I appreciated the smooth flow of the narrative and the gritty world the author built. However, while it was enjoyable in the moment, the story didn’t leave a lasting impression for me. It’s a quick hit of dark romance that fans of the genre may appreciate, but it’s not one I see myself revisiting.
