A sweet, enjoyable read.

Eddie and Pearce are such wonderful characters and the bestest besties ever. Unfortunately Pearce has wanted to be more then besties for the past 5 years and the pining is still strong. Eddie is wary of the 11 year age difference between them and doesn’t quite understand how age gap relationships lasted. Add into the mix his confident and sassy 10 year old Lottie, his rather deplorable boyfriend and all the travelling for Pearce’s pro basketball career, Eddie really does struggle with how a relationship would look and work between them.

The caring, considerate and rather stubborn Pearce isn’t prepared to lose their friendship so continues pining until circumstances make Eddie really open his eyes to what’s possible for them. So begins a lovely, low angst romance that had me fully hooked from start to finish. The chemistry between Eddie and Pearce leads to some very steamy moments and the intimate moments are so tender and sweet.

The side characters kept things interesting, had me smiling with their antics and at the end I felt as if I’d just been given a big hug!
