I had high hopes for this book and loved the idea of an author looking for story help within nature with the help of his friends. I also found it interesting that this romance novel was entirely in the male's perspective. However, it felt as if the original storyline was just dropped and too many stories tried to happen within the book. There were also random characters popping up halfway through the book that I never felt that we got to know. I would have loved the story much more if the whole thing happened within nature.
