Pictures of You
by Emma Grey
I absolutely loved the authors previous release, The Last Love Note so I was thrilled to get an early copy of her latest. The premise here was so interesting, Emma wakes up in the hospital after a car accident and she has lost her memory. She thinks she’s 16 still but she’s actually 29 and her husband died in the accident and she doesn’t remember being married to him. From there things flip back and forth between the present day and the past as you learn what happened in Emma’s life from when she was a teenager to now. There is some mystery surrounding the way her life looks now versus the way she remembers it at 16 and it goes dark at times and it’s definitely emotionally heavy. This was meaningful and special, I loved it and recommend it when you want a book about second chances that will break your heart and put it back together again.
