thanks to both @librofm for the ALC and @vintageanchorbooks for the copy of this one! i’ve read two of irby’s books now and determined her writing style and humor just doesn’t click with me. both books have had r—pe mentioned really casually or in a joking manner and that’s just something i cannot excuse or tolerate. 🙅🏼‍♀️ this was a DNF for me, as i realized i wasn’t enjoying it and didn’t like how it was making me feel!
