cuckleberryfins 's review for:
Gemina
by Jay Kristoff, Amie Kaufman
This book played with my feels. A lot.
Double universes of stars/5
The main characters fit the classic daddy's girl and bad boy stereotypes at first, which I found I enjoyed. I enjoyed it even more with the spins Amie and Jay put on them. I grew really attached.
Along with new characters, we see old characters from the first book, Illuminae.
I love the universe and the logic and the subplots in top of subplots. This book was just so good.
I was a little hesitant going in because of the character change but I found I loved it even more than the first. It was everything I wanted it to be and more.
