I can see why this book would work for many. The story has multiple layers, it has a strong message about looking around and see what life is for. It has a cool background, and FOOD. But for me, I just couldn't fully invest myself into any of the characters. They just lost me there since I didn't really care much what happen to anyone and a lot does happen, including being eaten. But overall this was decent for me, and probably great to the majority!
