One Touch by Lena Hendrix
4.0

This book is absolutely my new favorite Lena Hendrix book! The forced proximity? The hate to love? The chemistry? I love a good sibling's ex romance, so I loved how this was the hero's brother's ex, and they already knew each other. AND it's his best friend's sister? All of the tropes I love. This had everything! Kate is living with her aunt and they need help renovating the house, which and Beckett is hired to be the contractor. Beckett's family resents him for not having a high power job, even though he has a really successful construction/renovation business on his own. Kate is definitely not the quiet girl she was when she was dating his brother, and she's fiery and bold when she's around Beckett. They both had preconceived notions about each other, but they find out they didn't really know each other and are wrong about everything. They are forced to be around each other while Beckett works on the house and they even have to take a road trip together, and Kate documents the entire home renovation project on social media, where she begins to gain a large following. Also, Beckett went to therapy to become a better man for Kate. Um, we stan. This was perfect.
