I want to like this more than I did. I just didn't though. So many of the references and clues went over my head. Lyra and Will's relationship was fantastic and I adored the plot and writing style but the overall theme was lost on me. All the biblical hints and clues and references meant nothing to me or I had to stop reading to look into what they meant and in turn, lost the groove I was in. I just didn't love it though I wish I did!
