I went into this book expecting to love it, but it fell short for me. The book seemed to flip around too much too quickly while being too predictable in the many twists, and not in an enjoyable way that many romances. I didn’t feel much of a connection between either of the other boys in the love triangle. It seemed very all of nothing for boys she just met and made massive assumptions about.
It was an easy read, and I do enjoy some of the tropes such as love triangle and forced proximity through arranged marriage. Seeing the Bengali and Muslim culture shine through was some of my favorite parts of the book as well.
Not something I’d go out of my way to recommend, but I do think some people would find it enjoyable.
