Little & Lion
by Brandy Colbert
Ummm, this book was so good! I can’t remember when I ever started an audiobook and COULD NOT stop listening to it. From 8am to 8pm, I listened to this book and I’m so so happy I chose this on overdrive today.
Triggers- bi-polar / talks of suicide
This book is full of diversity and I loved everything about it. You have a bisexual/black main character, a Jewish boy who is diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, a best friend who is a lesbian, a crush who is pansexual and a family friend/ boy crush who is half black and Korean. There is so much I can say about this story but it would be hard for me to not spoil anything so i HIGHLY encourage you to pick this up if you haven’t already. The narration was so good, you could literally feel every emotion that Suzette goes through and feel so so much for her brother Lionel.
This was such a great story and I’m so glad I read it.
