This book dragged and dragged for me. It was about 100 pages too long and those 100 pages were all fluff that was totally unnecessary to the story. I mean half a page to describe outfits at the end when I just wanted the story to end.... why? I understood the need to set up the story but it took too long. And then there was the setup to the main story, and then the main story, and then the ending ... it was just too much.
The story itself had every chance to be very entertaining but it was surrounded by the unnecessary that it took away from a large part of it for me.
I will say this, this was waaaaaaay better than her last disaster of a book.
I really hope she can find a way to get back to where she was when she started writing because I feel like since her first 2 books she’s kinda fallen off and her writing hasn’t been as good.
