I liked this book at the beginning, but it just got more and more ridiculous as the story went on. There were so many unbelievably convenient solutions and coincidences, and I thought the characterisations were all really poor. The whole point of the book was just for all these characters to end up with each other, with lots of ridiculous bits in between like famous rap stars or whatever he was befriending a small business owner in England and filming a hit internet series.

And even for chick lit/contemporary/whatever this is, the whole "everyone found someone to spend the rest of their life with and they lived happily ever after" trope was just too much. Apparently it didn't matter what kind of horrific break up you'd been through, everyone would find love and no matter how long people had been apart or how little they knew each other, everyone would get along famously and it would all be fine.
