Hauntingly beautiful.
I enjoyed the ending the most. The back and forth of present to past was well written. The story as a whole was slow but built wonderfully towards the end. I liked the characters, Luc as darkness personified was all things onyx and emerald, Henry is splendidly sweet and incredibly relatable with all of his broken storms, and Addie... such a strong, willful, fierce woman. I laughed and cried. I will likely read this again as it is so good.
