All the King's Horses
by Kim Congram
Copy received from author for an honest review
It's only treason if you lose
All The King's Horses was a rollercoaster of a ride from the first words to the last.
Colonel Emma Adira is a bad arse mofo with a heart of gold - I want to be like her when I grow up (without all the war and death and stuff though, cos I would be too much of a wuss for all that!). For someone so amazing at her job, she did come across a little bit naive at times, however I think that makes it her more human, not some military robot.
Royalty, politics, coups - all wrapped up in one story!
Ms Congram kept me on the edge the whole time I was reading. Now I am impatiently waiting to see where book 2 - All The Queen's Men - takes us.
