I enjoyed this way more than I expected! I’ve never been a fan of the original Romeo & Juliet story but I’ve always loved twists on their story and forbidden love in general so this one sounded intriguing! I loved the back and forth between time and getting to see the mystery unfold in that way! I also really loved that the Romeo & Gulietta in this story had more of a story and not just knowing each other for a few days and then dying for each other lol and Julie’s story in the present time was so good! My only complaint is that it’s a very long book and there were times when it dragged a little. Overall though, I really enjoyed this one!
