Definitely not as good as her first series but not a bad story.
I found Rasmira to be very naive and very trusting which mad it a little hard for me to read about her at times. Plus the romance was way over done for me. I was expecting to read about this fierce warrior, and she was at times, but she was mostly insecure or starry eyed.
I also thought everything went way too quickly and easily for everyone in the story. You’d have thought one of the tasks would have been more difficult or took longer or something.
I don’t know ...
It was still an entertaining story to read and I like the authors writing style but I thought her other books were much better.
