I definitely enjoyed the second half more than the first half. I know that a lot of people have loved this book and I think had I been in any other mood, I would've been able to appreciate it fully, so this is absolutely a me, not you, scenario. I didn't vibe with this book for the most part but, I liked that the main characters weren't perfect and they had their flaws, it made them so much more relatable. Don't let this gorgeous, bright cover distract you - this is a very heavy book that tackles A LOT of difficult topics, please take a look at the trigger warnings before picking it up!
TW: anxiety, parental abuse, bulimia/eating disorder (graphic descriptions), cancer, racism, mental illness, identity theft
