Ultimately, I enjoyed this book. I felt like the author struggled some in the beginning to really nail the worldbuilding aspect, and the pacing seemed a bit sluggish at times. However, she pulled it off, and I shed some sad and happy tears by the end. Overall, it is a solid story and nice journey into an alternate Hades/Persephone retelling.
