For my first nonfiction book that I’ve read since college it was an interesting read. I kind of appreciated the forward by a religious member talking about preconceived notations that can hinder a person reading it - scientific, logic or spiritual back ground
My mom (who is 62) told me this book scared the shit out of her when she read it. It most likely was when it first came out. I didn’t find it as terrifying as she remembers but it still gave me some chills
It’s hard to criticize someone this happened to in real life because humans react differently to trauma and scary situations
Not that I did, but damn George made me want to DNF this from how frustrating he was
