These rich and mean housewives will make you want to be part of their clique. Then they'll eat you up and spit you out. You've got the Queen Bee, Margo, the psycho who controls everything and everyone. Tina, the Gossip. Jill, the Goodie Goodie. Carrie, the Muscle who just might be in love with our Queen. And Sophia, the Fresh Meat. The Hunting Wives is a group of these women who go out and shoot guns, get drunk, and get caught up in some immoral activities. Sophia, who just moved to town with her husband and son, gets caught up by making one bad decision after another. A series of events escalate and someone winds up dead. This book is fast paced but I really couldn't stand Sophia and her stupidity. It was like she was hard on learning to trust no one and kept on making bad decisions even after everything goes south. Luckily, I'm a plot driven reader and was able to finish this book and enjoyed it outside of the repetitiveness of Sophia's actions.
