Isaac's Song by Daniel Black
5.0

Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

I’m not one to cry when I read, but every few pages made me sob and I cried even harder when it ended. As a queer person with a complicated relationship with family, this book was not only healing, but showed me pathways to keep healing. Thank you Daniel Black for writing this book.
