Everytime I finish a book in this series I think to myself this is my new favorite. Ian's story made me think of the movie Ed TV.(If you haven't watched it please do it's a funny romatnic comedy with Matthew McConaughey. And that's who I picture as Ian.) Ian returns to NY 12 years older looking for true love. Ex Harem member and uber protective goth vamp Vanda helps by putting him on a dating website. Within 24 hours Ian is the man of the hour and women/men all over the tri-state area vamp and mortal want a piece of him. Toni is the first ever female guard ever to be employed by MacKay Securities and love is definately not on her to do list. Despite the obvious chemistry with Ian. She tries hard to go about doing her job and focusing on her own life goals. I liked this book for a lot of reasons. 1-She knew about vampires so there was no inner struggle of acceptence, 2-There was action and an unlikely hero, 3-We are learning more and more about the secondary characters. I absolutely love Dr. Phang aka Phineas!
