Just started a reread--know I won't make it all the way through before the new movie, but it's past time to read all 7 back-to-back. Something I haven't done yet.

On this reread (number 4? I'm not sure), I had forgotten how little time there is with the "action" So much is just set up for the rest of the books (and I certainly noticed some fun little details that become more important later). But it is still a wonderful, wonderful book though I think I prefer the later, more philosophical volumes.
