A Good Marriage
by Kimberly McCreight
Lizzie gets a collect call one day from someone she hasn’t heard from in years - Zach, an old friend from college. He’s in jail, he had found his wife murdered at his home, he’s being held on assault charges, and he needs a lawyer. Lizzie is hesitant to take this case on at first, she hasn’t talked to Zach in years. Once she is assigned the case, the story starts to unravel, and she starts to find out what happened the night that Amanda was murdered, she also learns about the kind of person Zach really is.
I honestly did not love this book, I really struggled the first 150-200 pages. There were so many characters, all the lawyer-legal stuff really bored me, I found myself skimming a lot of the first half. But then came the BANG
