This was my second time reading The Cruel Prince so that I could get ready for The Wicked King. I really enjoyed it again. I love June and her whole story. Not spoiling much since it happens within beginning of the book, when she is taken to fairy lights, she falls in love with the magic even though it is an entrapment and so unsafe. I think we can all relate to that at some point of our lives. There's always that one person or that one thing that we know is no good for us but we're still intrigued by it. I think the World building was great and I love getting to know more about fairy and it's character. I also really thought it was neat to have the twins and the juxtaposition between the two of them. I definitely left feeling wanting, more especially of Prince Cardan. And I wanted to see something awful happen to Locke.
