Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
by Becky Albertalli
THIS BOOK. WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL.
I think there are no words to describe how much I loved it and how important it was for me to read this at this specific point in my life. Having LGBT+ relationships portrayed in such a flawless, completely at-ease way was unbelievably refreshing. I loved Simon, I loved Blue, I loved Leah, Abby and Nick, despised then begrudgingly accepted Martin's existence, but most of all, I loved how liberating reading this book felt, how beautiful the story was portrayed throughout. Can't sing its praises enough. Everyone, please buy and read this book.
