A great example of turn of the century Brazilian romanticism by one of Brazil's most well-known "Golden Age" writers. It's like European romanticism on crack. A guy misses his bus by five minutes (hence the title), and discovers the love of his life -- a complete stranger whose face is totally covered. Nonetheless, he goes to extreme lengths to be in her presence.
