I feel like Tamara Berry is good at thinking up unique storylines for mysteries and that's why I liked this one. The uniqueness is what carried it for me, Tess and Gertie were great as usual. It's just... This one didn't hit like I hoped. It was a bit boring and I didn't feel locked into the investigation like I wanted to be. I would've DNF'd but I wanted to know the ending which was fine.
