I'm speechless. This book hit me hard.

The first part of this book was so unbelievably dark. Please read the trigger warnings!

I could imagine how it would continue after the cliffhanger of the first book, but holy hell, I didn't expect that. I said "oh god" at least a hundred times.
My heart and soul shattered, together with Addie's.

I loved Zade in the first book, but I adore him in this one.
I loved how he supported Addie and helped her heal, and I admire Addie for growing beyond her limits.

This book was a tough ride, but I really enjoyed it. Maybe a little bit more than the first book because of the great character development.
