Wow ok this book surprised me. It was a slow start - more of a character study about Jake and really got us into his mind and thinking. But it was a tad slow and I KNEW there was going to be drama so I was just desperate to get to it. And then it started. And I suddenly was hooked and racing to turn the pages until the end when I was so worked up even after I closed the book. I don't want to give any spoilers, but if you like psychological thrillers, but don't love the slow start - I highly recommend you stick with it to see how the story weaves and wends itself. The atmosphere was great and I could feel all the tension building and building until I needed to take some breaks. Thanks Celadon for this review copy!
