A prequel to Code Name Verity, we get to spend a summer with Julie before she became Verity at her family home in Scotland.
It was a fun story filled with mystery and murder and a fun assortment of characters! It wasn't at all what I was expecting but I still really enjoyed the book! There were pearls and tinkers and a man gone missing. Julie was such an interesting character to read about too and I loved Ellen and Euan and Jamie! They were such a fun group to read about!
