I really liked the humour and writing in Mort, Pratchett's style appeals to me. 

Unfortunately I didn't like the story as much as I had hoped. The central concept sounded great but it just didn't quite hook me the way I wanted, and while I enjoyed the book, I ended up feeling vaguely disappointed. Maybe it's because so many people rave about the book, I wanted to love it more than I did. 

It was a decent enough book though and as I did adore the one other Pratchett novel I've read (Good Omens) I intend to try at least one or two more Discworld novels before making my mind up about whether it's for me.
