10/10 would let Lincoln Stone step on me.

"I can teach you patience; I can give you power." Laughter gusted across her neck, gritty and tempered. "I can make you worse," he whispered, pressing his clothed c*ck between her legs, "If you let me."

"Do it," she said, sighing each word like a prayer. "Go ahead and try."

Tehlor and Lincoln are both such morally grey characters and nothing brings me more joy than baddies getting together and doing bad shit (but oops, we accidently stumble into a moral dilemma, even for us, so now what?)

One of the things that grabbed me in the first book is the tenderness between the two MCs. In THIS book, there is also that signature Freydis Moon tenderness, but it is far more subtle, given the nature of the main characters. They are both angry and mistrustful; both suffering from past mistakes. But it’s because that tenderness is so out of character for these two that it is far more impactful when it happens. The soft moments between Tehlor and Lincoln had me squealing.

I adored the Evangelical Christian religious fanaticism explored in this story. It was so sinister and dark.

LOVED where the story ends. Cannot wait to see what’s in store for these characters in the final book.
