Daylight by David Baldacci is coming out next month.
I was lucky enough to receive a review copy from the publisher @panmacmillan through @netgalley and I couldn’t be more grateful and happy.
I loved it so much. There are always things in one’s past that stay hidden forever, but there are resilience and faith that someone knows what truly transpired and how and most of all, why everything had to happen like that.
It’s darker, it touches some topics that can be triggering for certain people but it’s a great thriller series that has its own voice and wants to be heard.
Twists after twists, the story progresses from a criminal investigation to a personal interest, to discover what happened with her estranged twin sister and who was the real kidnapper. Atlee discovers secrets carefully kept for so many years and finding the truth is not always easy to digest, but I love how strong and human she is portrayed.
It’s captivating and so striking that I’ve read it in one go. I highly recommend it.
