I give J. Randy Taraborrelli's BECOMING BEYONCÉ a 4.5 star rating (again, I wish GoodReads had half stars, Sheesh!). The biography is very thorough and, in my opinion, paints a very unbiased view of the Knowles family, specifically Beyoncé. I enjoyed the biography from start to finish and found lots of business principles that I appreciate. It is obvious that Taraborrelli did his work and respects Beyoncé and her family. I recommend BECOMING BEYONCÉ for fans and those on the fence about her because the biography is a profile of the struggles and sacrifices of a family determined to make money, support their children's dreams and live through their children. BECOMING BEYONCÉ is as inspiring as it is cautionary.
