I'm so disappointed that this book didn't grab me. I was so excited because of the author, the cover, and the time period as well as all the representation in it but I just couldn't stay interested in the novel. I tried listening in several different settings and adjusting the speed of the audio because I just can't understand not liking it but this was sadly just not for me.
