Okay, this is a 5 star that will keep its stars! This book was immediately hilarious and cute in the "a story about a girl with dating issues who has meddlesome family" way that I expected but then it totally veers the other way when one of her dates ends up dead and she, her mother, and aunties all have to figure out what to do with him while also running their biggest wedding account yet as a wedding planning company. Turns out of you read the description of the book you'll know that's coming but I'd just seen a bunch of people rave about it on IG so I went for it! Then throw in the hilarity of her ex-boyfriend running the resort where the wedding takes place. I very much enjoyed this book, laughed multiple times, and would 100% reread it. Pretty sure there is a Netflix adaptation in the works so I'll be excited about that. There is a second book but I've read that a few people haven't enjoyed it as much so I haven't decided yet if I'll read it.
