A standard uninventive story of a half-faerie girl who starts to see strange creatures after her mom disappears, and is confronted by her heretofore unknown grandfather who asks her if she will come take her rightful place in the faerie realm. Nothing gets resolved and none of the characters are memorable. The illustrator did a great job with the faeries but a terrible job with the people. None of them looked human, and the four friends all looked so alike I found myself guessing which character was dating who in half the panels.
