I'm not sure why I expected more from the Wake. Or maybe the epilogue focusing on a character that I didn't super care for felt like a dull end. The volume is also shorter than I was expecting, given it includes two other stories, one related to the Dream (Daniel) and one related to Dream (Morpheus). I didn't mind those much. But I'm more looking forward to the stories in Endless Nights as it seems to focus on each of the siblings.
