This was a recommended audiobook on my spotify and I love sapphic romance. This story follows Annie/Cass/Cate as she navigates life and reinvents herself in attempt to erase the past as she is haunted by a traumatic decision.
The story was told from multiple POVs and i enjoyed getting the author notes/differing perspectives on interactions however it could get a little confusing while listening.
I also found it hard to suspend my disbelief in a lot of the miscommunications that could have been easily fact checked and a majority of the plot was built on 🙃
I wanted more of the story to be focused on the resolution between character which happens off page so the ending felt a little rushed especially with no exploration of the reconciliation between annie and amanda
