The Bone Collector by Jeffery Deaver
4.0

Recommended if you like Kathy Reichs/Temperance Brennan/Bones. This book hooked me from the book jacket, where I learned the main protagonist is a quadriplegic. There are some psychological elements present with the antagonist, and some ethical questions to be answered (What is a good death? How alive can a quadriplegic be?). But the book never lingers on these for too long, and its still an enjoyable, fast-paced read.

I enjoyed the three dimensional elements of this book. Great, suspenseful detective novel that manages to break the typical mold.
