The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep
by H.G. Parry
It’s really hard for me to articulate my thoughts on this one but overall, it was such a cosy and heartwarming read.
A world where a man named Charley has the unusual ability of being able to read characters out of their books and into the real world.
The characters were so loveable and I enjoyed reading about them all. Watching Charley and his brother Rob have their own character development, while also watching the relationship between them develop was just heartwarming.
They were written so well and the author perfectly captured the love and rivalry that can simultaneously run between siblings. However, overall the love and protection for them will always come on top.
The story was an adventure and the world was built beautifully alongside it. This book definitely has a special place in my heart now and I loved reading it.
