Very well written, but left me feeling a little empty at the end. The will-they-won’t-they was a bit too much, so in the end we never got to see them as a couple, only as two people making each-other very sad. I felt like we needed a bit more between the end of the main story and the epilogue as well. And why didn’t we get to see the kid’s reaction to them getting together! It would have been good to have a central plot other than just the romance. And the age of the kid seemed to vary wildly from toddler to, like, fully grown adult, if his dialogue was anything to go by. Hopefully we will see more from this author though, as they seem pretty talented and have potential.
