Whatever Life Throws at You
by Julie Cross
For some reason I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this, I think it's because the last romance/sport books I read was a disaster. I had a lot of fun reading this and was constantly interested in the plot and characters, and guessing what was going to happen next. Plus, we're in the middle of baseball season and as a Jays fan, I loved that.
The only problems a I found was with the character development, and the little plot details. There are several things that are presented in the plot as huge complications in the character's lives that seemed to be terribly brushed off by the end in favour of the character's relationship working out. It was just too easy. I also found a large lack of character development, and if there was it felt choppy to me. But that's just my opinion.
Anyways, I would recommend this, but you do have to have a least a bit of baseball knowledge.
