Wow! What a fun story! The sci-fi, AU Cairo in this was such a fun setting! Boilerplate automatons, dirigibles, trams that run on electric and magic, djins. This was a very creative story with a mix of magic and science fiction. All the while the story had a classic feel to it with an agent and his newbie partner investigating a mystery at the Cairo Tram station. But they are agents of a Magic, Alchemy and Enchantments Ministry and the mystery they're attempting to solve is that of a tram car possessed with a mysterious entity that is proving to be quite dangerous!
