*I haven't read Pestilence and I don't feel like it was necessary for me to do so in order to understand what was going on in War.*

War had my favourite trope, enemies-to-lovers (in one respect) and a lot of angst. I enjoyed it, I think the premise was interesting and I'm interested to see how Thalassa is going to end the series. I don't want to spoil anything but

if all the men fall in love then how will the world end? Will the world really end or is it being reborn?

. Miriam wasn't my favourite but nor was War. I was both apathetic towards them as people but I enjoyed their chemistry and relationship together, I mean what speaks romance more than almost getting killed by your "husband."
