This book. This FRICKEN book. These characters are messy, imperfect and feel so three dimensional. 
I loved a lot about this but most of all, I love that the author trusted me to read between the lines. The characters’ feelings weren’t spelled out for me, but I understood who they were through their words and actions. I didn’t always agree with them, but I understood them.
