If it hadn't been a book club choice, I never would have picked this up, much less finished it. But I'm a good book club participant. And this book wasn't even close to my cup of tea.
I get why it won a Printz Honor, but I really didn't enjoy reading this at all. So repetitive! So crass! And I'm fine with messy endings, but really?
